Death doulas have been around since the beginning of time.
Long before there were certificates or curricula, there were the ones who simply knew how to stay.
Who could sit at the edge of what most people run from and remain, steady, present, and unafraid. Every culture, every tradition, every lineage had them.
They were the midwives of the dying, the keepers of the threshold, the ones the family called when words failed and presence was the only thing left that mattered.
That knowing lives in you too. You didn't find this work. It found you.

Most people, even the ones who feel this calling in their bones, don't know how to be fully present with death or grief when they're actually in the room.
They mean well. They show up. And then they freeze, fill the silence with the wrong words, or leave because they don't know what else to do.
This training is for the ones who feel called to stay, and want to learn how to do it well.
The healer who already knows how to hold grounded space and wants to bring that knowing into the sacred threshold of of death & dying.
The caregiver who has sat with loss and wants the tools, the language, and the spiritual grounding to do it with more confidence and integrity.
The intuitive, the medical practitioner, the grief worker, the spiritual mentor who knows this work is part of what they are here to do and wants to cultivate a practice that honors both the practical and the profound.
Death doula work is not about having all the right answers. It is about being so grounded in yourself
that you can hold the center for others when they cannot hold it for themselves. Being with people in their pain without taking it on.
Our integrative and spiritually grounded approach to death work is what makes this training different.
Divine Love Death Doula is a small, intimate six-month mentorship with twelve live calls, meeting every other week, moving through the full spectrum of integrative end-of-life care and spiritual healing practices from the inside out.
We begin with the sacred foundations, understanding death from a spiritual, cultural, and deeply human perspective, and we move through every dimension of this work: holding space, compassionate communication, grief support, legal and ethical considerations, holistic approaches to care, ritual, legacy work, natural death care, and the real-world practice of serving in this capacity with integrity and presence.
At the center of it is the Living Funeral, an experiential practice that will shift your relationship with death and with yourself in ways that no amount of reading ever could.
You cross the threshold before you guide anyone else through it.
Every module is designed to give you the time and space to metabolize what you are learning before the next one arrives. Death work cannot be rushed, and this container does not try to rush it.
You will receive a Certificate of Completion, and the training prepares you for NEDA and INELDA competency testing.
The heart of this mentorship is community
This work does not happen in isolation. It never has.
The people who come into this training find each other and become something closer to family, because learning to hold space for death alongside others who feel the same calling creates a bond that is unlike anything else.
We learn together, practice together, and hold each other through the moments this material inevitably stirs up. And it will stir things up. That is part of the process, and it is part of why we do this together rather than alone.
A private community thread keeps us connected between calls for sharing, insights, support, and the things that surface in the middle of the night when the work is doing what it does.

Meet Your Guide
Lindsey Guttilla is a medium, death doula, grief educator, spiritual mentor, and hypnotherapist who has spent a decade serving at the thresholds of life and death.
Since 2017 she has worked in end-of-life care as a certified death doula, and has volunteered weekly since 2021 doing Reiki with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, sitting with their respite care and hospice residents at the threshold between living and dying. This work is not theoretical for her. She has been in the room. She knows what it asks of you.
For seven years she has led the Divine Consciousness Mentorship, guiding healers, intuitives, and spiritual practitioners through the deep inner work of discernment, presence, and authentic service. What she has learned across both bodies of work is that the capacity to sit with someone in the worst moment of their life comes from the same place: knowing how to stay grounded in yourself when everything around you is shifting.
That is what this training teaches.
Through intuitive perception, somatic awareness, and deep presence, she creates spaces where people can be witnessed, supported, and guided back to themselves.
She does not rush the process.
She does not bypass what is surfacing.
She meets you where you are,
and walks with you from there.
This is for you if...
You feel called to accompany others through death and you want to do it with grounded presence, spiritual integrity, and real skill.
You are a healer, intuitive, caregiver, medical practitioner, grief worker, or spiritual mentor who knows this is part of your path.
You have sat with loss, your own or someone else's, and you want to turn that experience into devoted, ethical service.
You are done waiting until you feel ready. You understand that readiness comes through the work itself.
